Athens from Georgia — the Acropolis and Piraeus are not the same day
Athens flies from TBS and KUT. The city is hot and spread out; the centre is walkable, the islands are another ticket. A weekend fits Plaka and the Acropolis, not Santorini.

How you fly
Compare Tbilisi and Kutaisi. ATH to the centre is a metro. Piraeus is the port — an island ticket starts there, not at the airport.
When
April–June and September–October. July–August is heat on the Acropolis rock. Winter is mild; island sailings thin out.
The city
Plaka and Monastiraki are the centre. Exarcheia and Pangrati are the evening. We do not quote Acropolis tickets; the queue is shorter in the morning.
