Vienna from Georgia — a compact capital on the Danube
Vienna flies from TBS and KUT. The airport is a short train from town. The centre is walkable; a weekend fits if you do not add Bratislava on the same day.

How you fly
Compare Tbilisi and Kutaisi. VIE to the centre is the City Airport Train or S-Bahn. The transfer is shorter than Budapest’s.
When
April–June and September–October. December markets are full — if that is why you fly, book a bed early; we do not quote prices here.
The city
The Innere Stadt (1st district) is walkable. Neubau and Leopoldstadt are the evening. The metro works. Bratislava is a short train and a separate day, not a Vienna neighbourhood.
